Can You Find Success In A Business That Lacks Glamour?

I truly believe I have the right franchise for all personality types.  Of course what works well for one person could be the completely wrong business choice for the next.  I also believe that the biggest point of value I bring to people is helping them develop the perfect business model for them.  I often work with people who tell me they would have never thought of the concept I’ve introduced to them and they thank me for expanding their horizons. One of the key considerations I try to help my clients answer is “How will this business model do in this tough economy?”  It’s important questions considering we will most likely be operating under these conditions for a while.

Many people are surprised that the secret to finding that bullet-proof, recession resistant business is often in the industries that completely lack glamour.  They are the type of business that when you see their logo on my website you skip over.  Somehow people think if they have a janitorial franchise they will be cleaning restrooms for a living and at the same time they realize that if they start a hamburger joint they won’t be flipping burgers.  I’ve seen people’s eyes light up when they realize that employees or contractors do the physical work, “I’ll market and grow the business.”  And I’ve seen dollar signs in those same eyes when they realize that these non-glamorous industries often have high margins, strong and consistent demand and limited competition.  What more could a business person ask for?

This type of franchise is called an “executive franchise” model.  It’s often dirty and disgusting jobs that the business handles, but it’s money they rake in. If you are wondering if an “executive franchise” might be right for you, give me a call (913 888-1400) and let me help you design the perfect business model for you.  If you need an advanced preview of some of those opportunities, click here.

I’ll work with you and take the time you need to make sure you find a franchise that thrives during tough times and is a perfect fit.
